Thank you for clicking on this tab!  Congratulations on taking the first step towards getting rid of your long-standing pain, forever!  Doctors of Physical Therapyspecializes in treating those individuals that have been suffering with chronic pain.  If you have "tried everything," please consider coming to Doctors of Physical Therapy as your final stop!
While acute pain is a normal sensation triggered in the nervous system to alert you to possible injury and the need to take care of yourself, chronic pain is different.  Chronic pain persists. Pain signals keep firing in the nervous system for weeks, months, or years, even if the tissue has healed.
There may have been an initial mishap -- sprained back, serious infection, or there may be an ongoing cause of pain such as arthritis, but some people suffer chronic pain in the absence of any past injury or evidence of body damage.  Common chronic pain complaints include headache, low back pain, arthritic pain, or neurogenic pain (pain resulting from damage to the peripheral nerves or to the central nervous system itself).
Many patients who have chronic low back and neck pain, headaches, general arthritic complaints, hip and knee osteoarthritis, and shoulder pain will benefit from our comprehensive health management approach.
At Doctors of Physical Therapy in Kirkland, we specialize in the management of chronic spinal and extremity pain syndromes. We are dedicated to working with our patients to overcome these debilitating disorders and to empower them to returning to the activities they love. Many of our patients have succeeded in conquering these painful disorders despite years of failed attempts and other treatment options.
If you have "tried everything" and still have pain, we implore you to make an appointment with Doctors of Physical Therapy
